With some of the biggest crossover hits of the last few years, Jaehn is now preparing for the release of his debut studio album ‘I’. The 25-track album was crafted with a deeply personal touch, highlighting his progress since 2014 and emphasizing his journey. With the help of his team, Jaehn boldly stepped out of his comfort zone in the pursuit of continued sonic innovation, an produced a unique, career encompassing record.
On releasing his debut album three years after making his mark on the electronic music scene, Jaehn stressed that he needed time to develop as an artist before taking the leap;
’I wasn’t artistically prepared to produce an entire album at the time. I wanted to develop myself first, find my sound, build a team around me, and play live which was all part of the journey. I really wanted to put all of my time and effort into my debut album’
While each of the tracks offers a different sound, they all tie together with an overlying positive and energetic vibe, resulting in a production not only tailored to radio, but also perfect for the clubs.
His new single ‘Cool’, featuring rising star Marc E. Bassy and Rap legend Gucci Mane is scheduled to release on the 9th of February 2018 alongside a poignant music video. Serving as the final single to release prior to Jaehn’s album, fans can look for ‘I’ in full on February 16th 2018.
